Losing Weight with Organic Coconut Oil

Wouldn’t it be great if you could enjoy fat in your diet and have it actually be GOOD for you, plus helping you to lose weight?  There are so many benefits to adding coconut oil into your daily diet.  I must admit, it was hard for me to grasp that idea for awhile.  After all, whenever I’d pick up a magazine or watch TV, I would see or hear that low fat was the way to lose weight!  However, over two-thirds of the American population is considered to be overweight or obese, so obviously low-fat is not the way to go!

For many years I had heard you should avoid using coconut oil period simply because it was saturated and that it would make you be fat.  I didn’t understand that it was a different kind of saturated fat and that your body uses it differently from other types of saturated fats.  Hawaiians, Polynesians and other tropical cultures have it figured out; they don’t have nearly the amount of heart disease problems like Americans do.  They also don’t have nearly as many weight issues or health problems in general we have here.  Hmm…I wonder why?  Of course it is because they use coconut oil all the time, probably daily, in their diets.
